JERRY D. FREEMAN

I was born August 27, 1957 in Athens, Alabama.  I have lived in the Farmington area almost all my life.  I graduated from Farmington High School in 1976. I married my wife, Pattie, April 20, 1979 and we have three grown daughters and now have five grandchildren, three boys and two girls.  In 1997 I started my own business, Southwest Hydraulics, Inc., and currently still have a job.

My father –in-law sponsored me into Farmington Lodge 1747 in 1981 and I became an active member in the Lodge after my children were older.  I have served as Inner Guard, Chaplain, Esquire, Lecturing Knight, Leading Knight and was Exalted Ruler in 1996-97.  In 1995-96 our ritual team was State Champion AA and we competed at Las Vegas Grand Lodge Session.  I have won All-State AA chairs as Esquire, Leading Knight and Exalted Ruler, and including the Eleven O’clock Toast competition in 1996-97.

In 1995-96 I served as State Lodge Activities Chairman.  I have also served a term as Lodge Trustee becoming Trustee Chairman in 2005-2006 and ENF Chairman for Farmington Lodge #1747 in 2006-2007, putting my Lodge second in the nation, in our Lodge category for contributions per capita. Currently I am serving on our Recreation Committee.
