I was born in Reno Nevada on August 20th 1938, my parents moved to Oregon 4 years later and down to Arcata Calif. 4 years after that. I graduated from Arcata High and spent 1 semester at Humboldt State and Joined the Navy. After 4 years 11 months and 23 days in the Navy I was discharged and moved to Omaha Nebraska and went to work as a milkman delivering milk door to door. In 1963 we moved back to Arcata Calif. and I went to work for Firestone Tires. After a few years I was promoted to store manager. I ran Firestone Stores in San Jose Calif. Arcata Calif. where I was also the manager of a Retread plant and in Klamath Falls Or where I retired.
After a short time I went to work for Goodyear Tire and worked for 11 years as a Commercial Tire Sales Engineer and retired here in Albuquerque.
We have 3 children Clark a Deputy Federal Marshall in Portland Or., Deanna an ultra sound tech in McMinnville Or. and Erica who runs a Fire Department in the little town of Junction City Ore. We have 4 grand children, Clayton, Anna, Megan and Luke.
I began my trek in Elkdom in Klamath Falls Or. Lodge 1247 in 1978 where I served on several committees, I was Tiler for 2 years and then was elected to the Trustees and was chairman in 1986. I transferred my membership to Albuquerque 461 in 1994. I have served on numerous committees; I have been Exalted Ruler twice, Tiler for 2 years Treasurer for 2 years and Trustee for 5 years. I have been President of the PER Association twice, I have been VAVS Representative since 2006, I served for 15 years on Albuquerque 461 Veterans Committee and have been State Veterans Commission Chairman since 2007. I have been awarded Officer of the Year in 1999-2000 and 2006-2007, I was named New Mexico Elks Veteran Volunteer of the year in 2006-2007.
I also am a member of the Masons, Scottish Rites, Shriners and a 45 year member of the Odd fellows.

Keith is the proud father of 4 children: Nathan, Sara, Craig, and Josh, who are all now grown. He has been married to Veronica for almost 6 years. Keith has been an Elk for 7 years and his wife has been for 5. He was Exalted Ruler in 2007-2008 and attended Grand Lodge that year in Charlotte, NC. As PER, he attended the convention in Portland, OR in 2009-2010. He has also served as lodge trustee, president of the PER Association, and was elected lodge secretary for 2010-2011. Keith was named the Officer of the Year for Las Vegas #408 for the year 2009-2010. At the state level, he served as Chairman of the Accident Prevention/Insurance Committee and is the Chairman of the State Directory and Public Relations for 2010-2011. He is also serving in the District Chairman capacity for ENF and Internet Operations. Keith was installed as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler for the Northeast District #5920 on July 8, 2010 at the Grand Lodge convention in Orlando, FL. Born in Charlotte Michigan in 1943, Moved to Carlsbad in 1945, Schooled in Carlsbad graduating in 1961, back when Carlsbad was still a football power in the state. Entered the U.S. Navy 1n 1961 and after traveling all around the world and several conflicts was honarably discharged in 1965. Attend Texas A&M where I majored in engineering and minored in education. Started teaching at Nederland High School in Texas where I left the teaching profession when they took disiplin away from the teachers in 1976. Returned to Carlsbad and was employed at Potash Company of America until I took an overseas assignment with Freeport McMoran in 1988.. I then worked in Indonesia untill I retired in 1996. After several years of doing odd jobs just to keep busy I went to work for White's City Resort where I am presently general manager. I have four grown children scartered about and a wife of 6 years at home. My carrer in Elkdom began in Odessa Texas in 1965 Then transfering to the Carlsbad Lodge in 1976. Aftering chairing many local commities started my journey through the chairs being ER in 1983-84. Served the state association as veterns service chairman and several years as co-chair of the national convention committee. I now have the privilge of being the Distric Deputy of NMNE thanks to the appointment in Portland by the Hon James l. Nichelson. Quick Link (all required for reports): Email All!

Mike was born in Bellflower, CA on Oct. 8, 1966. He was raised in Casper, Wyoming where he graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1985. He joined the Army National Guard in 1984 and the Active Army in 1988 and serviced until 1998. He currently works at Holloman AFB on the High Speed Test Track as an Optical Technician. He is married to Jennifer and they have three boys, Jesse, Clayton, and Bradley.
Mike was initiated into Alamogordo Lodge #1897 in July 2004, soon after becoming the Esquire. He started through the chairs as Loyal Knight in 2005, Leading Knight in 2006, and serving as NMEA Sergeant of Arms while Exalted Ruler in 2007 He has served as SW District Youth Activities 2005-08 & Auditing and Business Practices 2006-Present and on various Lodge committees.
